Post: RE: A UnixHub Collaborative Distro?

As of right now, the libc I'm using is Musl, which has worked out pretty well. I'm ope to suggestions, though.

Well, for one, this is a desktop distro, or at least, aimed at desktops, so a broad range of hardware support, and large community of developers is key. BSD simply can't provide the community of devel...

I'm pretty interested in using Busybox, but I'm open to anything (that's not systemd). Rolling out our own is an interesting concept, but I think we should save that project for another time.

Before the distro development can progress to any significant form, we have to be on the same level with our understanding of the goals for the project, and how we're going to get there. What is assu...

I thought we had agreed on a distro? Tiling WM on Wayland, though - it would make more sense to simply write a shell for Weston. Why not have a tiling Weston shell on our UnixHub distro?

I'm leaning towards a whole distro, as well. I feel it could really spread knowledge and experience among the forum, and attract new members looking to work on a large project of the sorts.
