RE: Show us your first scrots! - hades - 26-06-2014 When I first discovered how to enable syntax highlighting in vim, nearly a year ago: (Crunchbang with Openbox) http://i.imgur.com/0eB0aUF.png And here's another, taken shortly after: http://imgur.com/a/uNEpX RE: Show us your first scrots! - nrmc.dubz - 01-07-2014 I cannot find my very first scrot; but here is one after a year on Linux. I was kidding anyway, because I used to be a Apple Fanboy :3 RE: Show us your first scrots! - earsplit - 24-07-2014 Here's 2 old Ubuntu scrots from when I first started taking screenshots... Unfortunately all the gold went down with omploadr 1) Random transparent terminals floating all over the place with shitty grayscaled wallpaper (XFCE) 2) Gnome "Fallback" + Docky + Faenza icons RE: Show us your first scrots! - Mafia - 23-09-2014 Back in my Awesome/Fedora days. RE: Show us your first scrots! - Nihility - 23-09-2014 not that old, it's a *buntu about 11.10 ish RE: Show us your first scrots! - thetornainbow - 24-09-2014 Having only used Linux for a little over a year, here's my earliest screenshot I have from last November: Crunchbang w/ spectrwm. RE: Show us your first scrots! - Lains - 24-09-2014 I had anemic colors. RE: Show us your first scrots! - nrmc.dubz - 25-09-2014 Welcome to nixers.net, Lains. Please use Spoilers. RE: Show us your first scrots! - LIESard - 16-01-2015 http://a.pomf.se/zhzzks.png It wasn't like this when I started though. I had been using Openbox first because I didn't know how to use i3. I don't seem to have that screenshot though :/ RE: Show us your first scrots! - neeasade - 05-04-2015 around dec of 2014, when I was first getting into configuration: RE: Show us your first scrots! - srp - 25-05-2015 This is the oldest scrot I can find on IOPaste, its from November 2014. The rest are deleted :/ RE: Show us your first scrots! - xero - 26-05-2015 #! crunchbang w/ openbox : terminator (ha!) with ncmpcpp, htop, pipes, and screenfetch. wall is from lupin the 3rd: the woman called fujiko mine RE: Show us your first scrots! - venam - 26-05-2015 I love this thread because it shows very different aspects of ricing. I'm getting a bit bored of today's setups. RE: Show us your first scrots! - neeasade - 03-06-2015 Here's some shots from when I was just getting into it, Dec 2013 ish :) EDIT: for some reason I thought this thread was new woops anyway there's a few more RE: Show us your first scrots! - z3bra - 04-06-2015 It's always good to wake up old threads ;) RE: Show us your first scrots! - movq - 04-06-2015 The oldest screenshot that survived: https://www.uninformativ.de/gal/desktop/2003-08-09--kde1-old-mailserver.png Pretty boring, though. It's my home server which was mainly used as a mail server. IIRC, it was running SuSE 6.4. RE: Show us your first scrots! - dcoppa - 09-06-2015 An old screenshot of mine from 2002 (OpenBSD 3.1). This shows my first experiments with wifi under OpenBSD, when wireless was still a cool thing (at least in Italy). The wm should be TWM iirc, and look at the browser I was using back in the days! Unfortunately my older shots from the late 90s are all lost, but I remember some very ugly ones with AfterStep or WindowMaker ;) http://i.imgur.com/mUowt4N.png RE: Show us your first scrots! - venam - 10-06-2015 (09-06-2015, 01:10 PM)dcoppa Wrote: An old screenshot of mine from 2002 (OpenBSD 3.1)."Avoid reality at all costs." You had all those cool tools around to check the wireless status. Wireless is still a pain these days. RE: Show us your first scrots! - ashen - 12-08-2015 This was actually just earlier this year, as I got into ricing rather recently. https://ptpb.pw/2QgB.png RE: Show us your first scrots! - arcetera - 15-03-2016 oh god http://i.imgur.com/3TTf7GQ.png RE: Show us your first scrots! - xero - 15-03-2016 2003 "screencap". lel http://etc.xero.nu/2003cap.jpg RE: Show us your first scrots! - pranomostro - 15-03-2016 Here you go: https://ipfs.pics/QmVMD7zGPLhN84TRrSErnA13oTFJxRP1CWuzSsgRmy8B4W That wasn't long time ago, stat --format='%y' say end of october 2015.
