More shots, please :) RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - dab - 31-10-2018 Thanks @xero for nice art RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - sth - 15-11-2018 new openbsd setup on my x220 in anticipation of buying a new thinkpad next year. 6.4 is awesome. i haven't used openbsd since rcctl became standard and with a few tweaks it makes for a great devops-y environment. wm is cwm, of course! clean: fakedirty: RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - xero - 24-04-2019 found a vintage screenshot i'd never posted. mafia discovered a wallpaper pack from the nineteen hundred and nineties, i was editing the colors to match my blaquemagick theme RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - josuah - 24-04-2019 If you're bored of screenfetch defaults Code: . first scrot of the decade! - dcli - 13-04-2020 I'm working on it - running openbox, st with fish, feh for bg. https://p.iotek.org/s41.png RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - dcli - 14-04-2020 I set up my lemonbar config, nothing special, changed to a new openbox theme and settled on a font. https://0x0.st/iQBQ.png RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - neeasade - 14-04-2020 @dcli looking comfy, I like the window decoration buttons. Some time ago I took to having a 'rice' page on my website where I post shots (I also enjoy that you can see how things changed over the years): https://notes.neeasade.net/rice.html RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - sth - 16-04-2020 time to take some scrots... i have a feeling i'm just about sick of a dark terminal theme (no thanks to neeasade's scrots). clean: https://nvsbl.org/img/scrots/415-3.png dmenu_run: https://nvsbl.org/img/scrots/415-2.png "dirty": https://nvsbl.org/img/scrots/415-1.png configs etc: https://github.com/guinanseyebrows/configs usually i just have firefox running maximized in one group and a tmux session running maximized on another. RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - dcli - 16-04-2020 @neeasade, it's really cool to see the difference between 2014 and now. @sth big fan of your bar, and the fact that i'm featured in the scrot :) RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - sth - 17-04-2020 (16-04-2020, 04:33 PM)dcli Wrote: @sth big fan of your bar, and the fact that i'm featured in the scrot :)hey now, you're an all star don't tell anyone but my bar is absolutely based on macOS :P RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - seninha - 24-04-2020 I use a workflow similar to the ion and notion window managers, with tiles and tabs. In my screenshot you can see three tiles, two of them with tabs. RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - jkl - 27-04-2020 I find the font harder to get used to than the font style, to be honest. RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - pfr - 21-07-2020 I suppose an obligatory post in the screenshot thread is needed after joining the forum. I posted this on Reddit not long ago, maybe you saw it? This is still my current setup. RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - opfez - 21-07-2020 (21-07-2020, 12:49 AM)Ramiferous Wrote: I posted this on Reddit not long ago, maybe you saw it? This is still my current setup. Cheers mate. Its a very simple setup. I like spectrwm because of its plain text config file and ability to edit/reload on the fly. I can feel wmutils calling me though... RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - wolf - 23-07-2020 I built OpenBSD kernel with spleen font (5x8). The result was great, but I got some "screen borders" on tty. I'm trying to figure out how to fix it. RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - pfr - 25-07-2020 Gaps look good in screenshots but its such a waste of space! RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - seninha - 28-07-2020 I'm trying this color scheme for syntax highlighting: white on black, keywords in light gray, comments in dark gray, constants in red, and strings in bold italic. I created this color scheme after reading this. I'm gonna move my desktop colors to white-red-black too, but I need to look for a good wallpaper. Yeah, except for the use of italic and bold, my color scheme is the same as 256noir. After using it for a week I am completely used to it. The code doesn't look like a rainbow anymore. RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - opfez - 30-07-2020 Have tried using 256noir myself, but the highlighting on selected parentheses is horrible. Would love to try your colorscheme, as I have been looking for a nice semi-monochrome colorscheme for some time. RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - z3bra - 31-07-2020 Have you tried no colorscheme at all ? I made that switch a few years back, and never looked back ! RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - jkl - 31-07-2020 Or, at least, a minimal one. https://github.com/robertmeta/nofrils |
