BSD on RPi? - FreeBSD - 15-09-2012
Has anyone tested BSD on the raspberry pi? Thought it would be cool to try!

Even with NetBSD? It runs on almost anything.
That's what I thought too! Haven't got a pi yet but thought it would be pretty awesome to get some form of BSD on it though!

If it runs, it runs NetBSD.
The Pi boots NetBSD 6.0 RC1 to multiuser. But no USB or Network yet, according to [this post](http://blog.netbsd.org/tnf/entry/announcing_the_first_release_candidate)

Anybody tried out FreeBSD on the Pi yet? :) If it functions well, this would be absolutely perfect! I'm really looking to get into BSD (still haven't done it! D:) and running it on my Pi would be ideal.
EDIT: I just realised the below on NetBSD's blog:

I won't. Too broke/don't see the appeal.
When it's considered stable, you don't see the appeal in placing a PI inside a bare bones Mac laptop? ;D
