Currently using WMFS2 but I'm going to need to switch as half my steam games don't work in it.

Hey man I have an old black macbook, and tbh I'm kinda scared to install Arch on it. But its slow as shit, I just want to hear more from you. Was it difficult? Do you think it was worth it?

are they java/libgdx games? I've encountered a problem with several wm's that wont run java applications. if so there's a simple program called wmname that may solve your problem. also how do you like wmfs? I've heard good things but have yet to try.

it was totally worth it. i personally hate macs (for lots of reasons). now that it's running *nix it's actually a machine i don't mind using (but some of the keys feel like they're in odd locations for me).
it was no more difficult than installing and configuring arch on any other machine. wifi was the hardest part, since the laptop doen't have an ethernet port and wifi didn't work out of the box. these are *about* the same steps i took to get the base system setup. http://git.io/LDfG1A

I tried wmname but it didn't work unfortunately. Seems to be more of a problem with wmfs rather than java. Besides the games not working though, i'd say it's my favourite WM. I really like the built in panel and a few other things like being able to tab programs. It reminds me a bit of i3
