Fedora 17 rootkit? - zygotb - 25-10-2012

Look what I found... After only one day of installing on a fresh F17 system.

Somewhere along the line, I remember one blog where there was a setup guide, and there was a setup script which had the warning, "Do you trust me?"

:/

Looking through history now...

RealtimeKit is a D-Bus system service that changes the
scheduling policy of user processes/threads to SCHED_RR (i.e. realtime
scheduling mode) on request. It is intended to be used as a secure
mechanism to allow real-time scheduling to be used by normal user
processes.

I doubt someones rootkit would show up in your processes, lol.
That would kinda defeat the purpose.
