links2 (textual) vs dillo (graphical) - lee - 21-04-2013

IMO links2 is the winner. It just looks SO much cleaner.
I'd be glad to do more of these tests if anyone is interested.

Have to say i never tried Dillo, but link2 is very powerful browser!

gtk? What do you mean? This runs like that, in a framebuffer, without X.

I've used links2, dillo, and w3m.

links2 > w3m > dillo

I use 'links2 -g' all the time on my debian ancient computer. w3m is still nice for the textual simplicity when I'm reading a manual or something. I've heard some people use it for HTML parsing. Interesting...
