I think it should be purchased, just so no one will use it and take away your traffic. I know that the first time i tried to get on here i used .com before .net. So maybe some people will be in the same boat as me.

Maybe you could ask him to merge the domain,I mean by that letting him have his part on unixhub.net and him letting you have your part on unixhub.com, or to put a little info on the top of his page to tell people that this is not the forum unixhub.net

lol, on the basis of first come, first served.. he had it since 1999 i doubt he'll have any interest in this forum to be honest.
