Command wrappers and other goodies. - yrmt - 29-07-2012

I like to have colors in my command output. Here are a few wrappers I know of:

*1) CW.*
- Written in C.
- Compiles and work on GNU/Linux, BSD and Mac OS X

- There are lots of commands supported and you can make your own wrapper for other commands.

*2) Cope.*
- Written in Perl.

- Looks the same than CW.

*3)Supercat.*
- written in C.
- Syntax coloring in cat.

- Support for python, c, patch, diff.

2 really nice scripts that I use are dtrx (do the right extraction) and to. Instead of knowing every command and flags to extract different archives, you can just use dtrx which will extract your archive automatically. To is a cli bookmarking tool that you can use to bookmark different locations and then easily come back to them. Really helpful when developing and working in several directories or just simply bookmarking locations of dotfiles that you change often.

Hehe. Unfortunately Bfish (server owner) is too lazy to get off his ass and change the default API key, so uploading through cURL won't work. So i guess you would lose that functionality until he fixes it. This is for the image service. Paste service works like normal otherwise.
