From Archlinux and starting ricing since 2011 btw in 2014 went Gentoo and my desktop more riced after changed some thing. I found the great community in Nixers.

Doesn't work w3imagedisplay on Gentoo with latest ranger-git, but ASCII images showed in terminal. Tested under python 2.7 & 3.4.
