UPDATE: I think I am going to make a distro that fulfills my needs. It will probably run inside another system using Busybox/Toybox and Musl. Maybe with something like (B,C,H)LFS?

Void Linux's Musl version has less packages and certain things don't build. But it is probably 80% Musl. Things like openVPN don't compile. I have already read your post. I am gonna try it when I can ...

I used Gentoo and looked at Crux (I would have tried it but I didn't have enough pulsa (internet credit) to download it). I would go towards CRUX. I know that itching feeling to try something new. :)
