Thread: Found my ethernet issue
Post: Found my ethernet issue
OK then, here's the problem explained:
* Ethernet works fine on a fresh reboot after plugging power in, and continues to do so.

Thread: USB booting on older hardware.
Post: RE: USB booting on older hardware.
Plop is handy, but it's just easier to use CDs like normal.
It's also nice to have an old computer that "just works" with disks, even if they're big by the standards of 1999. Too many a good old comp... |

Post: RE: Native Linux Experiment [Kyocera Rise C5155]

Thread: Icon design
Post: RE: Icon design
I myself hate Faenza. No silhouettes.

Have you made any icons? I recently dug up an old set of mine. It's a retro-web2.0 sorta thing, I still like it!

Thread: Maemo thread (Nokia 770/N8x0/N900)
Post: RE: Maemo thread (Nokia 770/N8x0/N900)
Only the N810 and N900 came with a keyboard, and they were after the N800. All of the other Nokias ran Symbian or Series 40, which makes me puke a little. |
