Long time nixers
I've been a member of this community for 1.5 years now, but for some reason I don't have an introduction. Maybe I deleted it by mistake, I'm not sure.

My name is Elliott, known around here and everywhere else as "vypr" (or "thevypr"). I'm a 16-year-old training in the Information Technology field and I"m on my way to becoming an IT professional and getting my CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications. I know some things about video creation and programming.

Interests:
  • I have a variety of music, from EDM to rap to rock.
  • I like cyberpunk books and art.
  • I like reverse engineering and kernel development, but I can't get into it.

Fun Fax:
  • Live/born in Michigan, U.S.A.
  • Junior in HS
  • I've done web design for freelance and regret it.
  • Football (not the American kind) and hockey are the only sports I can enjoy.
  • I enjoy physics and chemistry-related science classes.

Sad Things:
  • I have Comcast for an ISP.

I like the new interface of your website, it changes from the spaghetti thingy.

Thanks! I'm done with the spaghetti thing, that was more of a fad.

On another note: Thanks for listing me up as friend ;-)

The only decent public domain clipart I could find was a cookie, so I stuck with it. And no problem!

xero: I've read Neuromancer and Cory Doctorow's Little Brother saga, I plan on expanding my cyberpunk reads list this year.

Neuromancer is the only Gibson book worth reading... I read a couple others and wanted to hang myself. I know, fiction is like art -- its in the eye of the beholder, blah blah blah.

...also, I'm prone to fits of drunken ramblings.

Why do you regret it? I've been thinking of starting to do it myself...

Unix is user-friendly. It's just picky about who its friends are.

Having to deal with clients is very stressful because a good majority of them expect you to come up with ideas for the website look and expect you to practically be an advertising agency.
