Bar (bar aint recursive) in FreeBSD - BSD

Has anybody accomplished compiling bar in freeBSD?
I've edited the bar.c to point to xcb.h... but get stuck when it tries to find lxcb called in the LDFLAGS= in the makefile. Help would be much appreciated.
Nothin left to do but smile, smile, smile (~);}

Point the compiler to /usr/local/include and /usr/local/lib.
