If the mods and everyone else absolutely want the name "unixporn.net" there's a lot of options open like link it in the customization forum.
I do agree that we have a lot of common with /r/unixporn sub reddit however there's a lot of things to take in consideration.
Why would someone post on forums if they have a subreddit to post on?
We have great discussion forums exactly because we don't post the same content that is posted on the sub.
Anyhow, there's room for testing.
