I have been lurking for a bit watching this group put out the good work and the enthusiasm is great to see.
I am a long time user started with Redhat in April 95 the same time I was beta testing windows 95. It wasn't till later in 98 Redhat version 5 that I became a full time user. Soon after I switched to Debian and stayed there until I did a 4 year stint with Arch around 2004 - 2008. Then I took what I had learned and went back to Debian mostly testing and worked on minimal setups. Did some source based stuff along the way Gentoo, Sabayon, Buildroot and Sabotage. Later played with the LinuxBBQ releases and played with all the unknown to me window managers. Decided to get out of my rut and dabble with the BSD flavors 6 months ago and found things I like about all of them. But for now have settled on NetBSD, I have a couple release candidate versions installed and a current version running on my better desktop. I like long walks on the beach and curling up with a fresh copy of cat fancy magazine. Thanks for having me.
