I personally think those terms can be used interchangeably. (hybrid and dynamic)
Wikipedia says that dynamic wms are tiling wms with dynamic layout while the Archwiki says that dynamic wms are wms that can switch between tiling and floating.

On this one I'd rather trust the Archwiki.

Thanks for always bringing tricky subjects out.

EDIT: There's also another thing that need to be said. Some listing talk about "compositing" as being a "window management style" while it's definitely not about management but about the way windows are drawn. A window manager that has composition can be tiling or stacking.

There's a lot of confusion there.
