I completely agree. What I've seen so far of webp is amazingly good, and I've not really seen any negative sides with it apart from it being lossy. Much better quality to size ratio than jpeg as far as I know.

Personally, I get all my music in flac just to be sure I don't lose any information, but it takes a lot more space than mp3s.
