UserlandOrg reimagine the desktop as a sort of spreadsheet, columns piping into one another. Was this renamed to Pipeworld or is this a fork? This, along with Prio are really interesting. Druden is still pretty cool on its own, but Pipeworld takes the cake. I haven't had the chance to try it out yet, but I am looking forward to it. Definitely a GUI that requires a mouse though so it won't win everyone over, but I'm on the hype train so bring it on! It it still heavily reliant on the command line which I love and everything else from a global launcher. Honestly, there are some really exciting new things in the works relating to operating system design, and I for one am looking forward to a sort of operating system evolution.
