Excellent work!

This raised my little understanding of the physical layer.
We all learn something new everyday, right?

I have a question concerning the bus topology.
I could wiki it but I couldn't verify my guess.
I thought you would take the star topology as an example for the home network, the mesh for the internet.

So here's my question with my assumption, correct me if wrong.
How does the bus work? It seems to me from the explanation that it's using a hub: any node in the hub can be separated without affecting the others.
However, isn't that the same as a "flat" star topology, everyone is connected to one node.
