That faded out background is amazing. How do you achieve it? Any script that adds the transparent layer on top of the image?
Did you add it yourself to make it fit with the terminal colorscheme, if yes then it's some great work.

I pick a wallpaper first, play around with the brightness/contrast in gimp and then base my colors etc around it.

I'm only using wmutils and urxvt. The titlebars are from a script I wrote.

Here's another scrot.

The OneStepBack GTK theme. It's for the NeXT generation.

What do the two bars in the top represent? I'm guessing volume and load?

Actually just CPU temperature for the top one and volume for the second, so 1/2 isn't bad!

katriawm + lemonbar. Finally some Motif-ish look. The bars don't really fit in yet. Or do they? I kind of like it.

in general i like the motif look. my consistency gripe is that your window decorators have 5+ colors creating visual "depth" while your bar looks very flat with a solid bg and no borders to speak of.

Yes, absolutely.

I guess I'll have to leave lemonbar to achieve an effect like that. I need borders around the individual items of the bar. Something along these lines. Or something completely different.
