Indeed but I was just referring to the historical origin of the one on Unix.

Actually, I've had a hard time researching this.
The open ksh being released only in the 2000 a lot of the things pointed out in the wrong direction.
I was looking for which shells were default for the root account and the user account on different BSDs.
