You are right, but I didn't know how to put that into words for the podcast. "Inspired by" doesn't even cut it even though some part indeed were, like the shell in this case.

But NetBSD uses the Bourne shell as a user shell since version 4.0:

But historically used csh (but it doesn't mention its root shell).
