I've been a lurker in the *nix scene for a long time now and I'm finally ready to start being an active participant. I've used linux for almost ten years now, with it as my daily driver for about half the time. In that time I've used several distros, including Ubuntu, Crunchbang, Debian, and most recently Arch Linux.
I'm hoping to build more solid skills in shell scripting and basic *nix tools, server administration, and programming fundamentals. More specifially, I hope to master vim, build some practical shell scripting knowledge, start a home server, build a website, learn basic python, and configure a beautiful and highly functional desktop.
I usually go by the handle "veryrad" online, but since that was taken I'll just be your comrade or "rad" for short.
