I am a 22 year old university student, studying CS and love programming, drawing and watching football. I've been programming for three years now and I've set up my mind to pursue my career as a computer programmer. My lovely brother introduced me to the crazy world of GNU/Linux and Foss, and also explained how Linux generally works. Lately, I've been learning about kernel development and made some progress as I'm a slow learner. My this year resolution is to contribute in at least one of the open-source projects.
I love to learn new things, especially about UNIX and programming in general and apply it in daily use. Hope I'll learn a thing or two and can share some...thank you.

Welcome to nixers.
Have you decided on which project you want to contribute?

Nope, I haven't decided yet...but I'll probably stick to kernel dev.
I'm planning to start small i.e, reporting minor bugs and fixes in either USB or Network Drviers. I'm still a newbie when it comes to reading and understanding large chunks of code and I need find some extra motivation to carry on...lol
