Gala wm on Arch. Scrot is rather ulgy because it was taken in a VM. Will improve shot once I get a working desktop.
Article to do this can be found here http://forums.unixhub.net/showthread.php?tid=716 But be aware there are issues with wingpanel not willing to launch.

I could have sworn some one else uploaded a Windows shot before.... or maybe that was on the #! forums.

The first scrot I posted coming even remotely close to fapable. Installed OpenBSD 5.4 on my brand-new-already-used x220 just an hour ago. I think fell in love with OpenBSD. So much to learn. \o/ // Edit: I just tried out all of the function keys. Every single one works. Now I am really ready to unzip. // Edit II: First restart after I added my SSH key. Autostarting ssh-agent and ssh-adding my key. I came. Repeatedly. |

There we go again, people jacking off over how they're wasting their RAM by leaving it unused. Seriously, if you're not using that shit, send it to me - I will.

So what do people suggest we do with unused RAM? Mine rarely goes above 1GB, and I have 8GB to play with, would it be worth me making a ramdisk and sticking /tmp on it? What about my Firefox profiles, is it worth putting that on as well?

You could do that, there are articles on the gentoo forums that describe how to speed up your system by putting some of the directories into RAM. Personally I would sell the RAM on ebay. :D

Haha, it's laptop RAM so I think I'll leave it, plus I occassinally run a VM or game in Windows, but I'll look into getting a ramdisk, thanks :) |

Been running a framebuffer only setup for the past 2 days now, still loving the fuck out of it. It's debian, using the "Parker Brothers" colors and gohufont.
