I installed the iOS 7. I think it looks great:

Only if I could have a transparent Dock background...

It looks good indeed, but I don't understand why all the mobile OSes started going for the Ultra Light Grotesque Sans Serif fonts everywhere. It makes them look _new_, though.

(OT: How do you put images?)

Also, I love Helvetica Ultra Light. It looks very sleek :)

It would be great to have markdown for everything, like that it won't get confusing between mybb code and markdown.

I think the only thing left to have is spoilers.

I prefer mybb code.

Markdown is simpler.

I think you're just too used to BBcode, because MD is much shorter to write.

I quite like the look of it, as it's consistent throughout the OS compared to prior version of iOS. Even though I didn't mind skeuomorphism, in fact for certain types of programs I think it's more appealing/better suited (makes them more fun or helps convey more information). However across an OS I don't think it works.

So I'm a little disappointed with some of the design changes to a couple of apps, but overall it's for the best.

It's also nice they went for a flat look as the current app I'm working on has a flat UI, as well as lot of the other points they mention in their new design guidelines. So saves me a bunch of work :).

I haven't upgraded to it as of yet, and probably won't. I most likely will wait until it reaches GM seed.

EDIT: Also as far as markdown vs BBCode, markdown also tends to makes more sense structurally. I think the forum should just pick one and use only that.

It's gonna take a lot of ricing for my phone to beat that (unless, of course, I decided to upgrade to iOS7)...

In fact, I've never really tried to rice my phone. I should try that tonight...

I started out with a concept. I wanted something similar to my laptop setup. No icons on the desktop, run things using dmenu, only display necessary info in the bar. I set out to mimick this on iOS. These are my results, this is my rice.

This is what I see when I first unlock my phone:

This is how I launch apps (I bring this up by pressing the home button):

And this is my lockscreen:

I used the following tweaks:
Springtomize: to hide the dock after i'd moved all icons into the dock, and to hide the dots above the dock (among other things; Springtomize is a one-does-all customizing tool)
StatusTweak: to arrange statusbar elements
CleanStatus: to remove unnecessary items from the statusbar
Color Keyboard: to theme my keyboard

-- I might remember some more, but that's pretty much the list.

Those tweaks really make the environment pop! I'll have to apply them to my i devices.

Also someone made a video on Youtube that shows you can easily re create the look of the iOS on MS Word, which I think is pretty cool.

I love that guys accent, its weird that I never thought one could do design in MS Word, besides the basic flyers and such.

To be honest, I wasn't sure iPhones could be made to look prettier. Good job yrmt.
