XPDE looks sick!
Gave me errors when executing though, I'll see if I can fix it.

EDIT: Fixed link, also, it's monsterwm, with floating mode as defualt, I only use tiling when working. I'm using conky and the terminal is xterm, gonna switch to suckless's st though.

you really use xterm? and st is pretty buggy, go for rxvt-unicode.

Yes I do, I've got less trouble with xterm than with urxvt. Reason why I'll switch to st is mainly its simplicity but also that I've heard it's stable, if that is wrong as you say, I'll consider giving urxvt another go.

xterm is huge. urxvt is way lighter and can be sexier ;)

Hehe, true, but as I said, I have not had the best experience with urxvt, and when I switch to st will urxvt be like xterm is to urxvt. :P

As for your choice of term, nice colors. Might I ask for your conkyrc?

As I said on IRC - beautiful shot, Beastie.

And lol st. uRXVT is and always will be the only terminal for me. Being able to script it in Perl is nothing short of amazing.

Simon your desktop is nice too!

I really love your bar, well done sir :)

RE: Unix screen-shots thread! - Dritz - 29-08-2012

@ Simon

What WM is that your running?

Sick setup btw!

Here's my piece of crap Xfce desktop, on my piece of crap 10 yr old computer that I just got a week ago for free. (I guess I can't hate too much on a free box.)

I did figure out how to tether wifi from my Nexus 7 android tablet to this computer though. Which, I pride myself on. LOL (Did it without paid software. I'll probably post a tut some day.)

Dirty:

Clean:
[Image: scaled.php?server=140&filename=screen2vg...es=landing]

I'm really staring to realize the benefits of learning how to use a tiling/floating WM...

Change is underway. :)
