Well, z3bra and, to a lesser extent, myself are working on ratox, a distributed, encrypted messaging application
using the tox protocol. The development is going on at http://git.z3bra.org/ratox/log.html. ratox uses the tox protocol (https://tox.chat) and the toxcore library (https://github.com/irungentoo/toxcore). Atm, one-to-one messaging, file sending and audio calling are possible, all encrypted via libsodium (https://nacl.cr.yp.to). So, if you want to test it, install toxcore, download ratox, compile, read the manpage, and send a request to the id AA72C255E14A6214E0E368F5882A6B7CF235F8F3CCE0321EDBFBC5F2C065E3173337CFD9B594 (sorry z3bra, it changed again for some reason). |
