I know that a few users have websites with blogs and things like that on them, but I only know of a few (like z3bra's). I like what I read there and I'd like to see more, but I don't know how to find out who has a website other than by asking.

I have one, at http://kaashif.co.uk. Kaashif is my real name by the way, I'm not just linking to some random guy's website and claiming it as my own.

So, who else has a website?

You can link your website in your user cp.
Mine are http://venam.nixers.net, http://venam.1.ai, and http://venam.nixers.net/blog.
There's nothing really interesting on them though.

And not just how it looks, especially the content too.

You wouldn't have a feed (rss/atom) of some sort for it would you (would love to subscribe)? Perhaps muon could auto generate one? Probably really simple, although I wouldn't know how to do it in haskell…

I whipped up something really quickly, which you can find at http://kaashif.co.uk/rss.xml. I think it's a valid RSS feed, but I'm not sure. Thanks for showing an interest, anyway. I'm sure there are loads of cool websites that are undiscovered. Does anyone know about any other relatively unknown *nix blogs?

working on http://neeasa.de currently. It is hosted on github using jekyll for now. The content is vacant because of a plugin issue I'm solving - namely github does not support jekll plugins when they host. But when that's resolved the searchbar on the main page will search through the notes section of the site so I have easy access from wherever I happen to be.

That's a pretty cool site, xero. If I may ask, what software is running http://code.xero.nu?

Nice site, pizzaroll1! Does your name mean "Discoverer", and if it does, where are your parents from?

It does, actually, berk. They're from Mauritius, which has quite an active *nix community, which is quite surprising for such a small island. Here's the website of the largest group: http://lugm.org/. They even have a couple of articles on OpenBSD, and have held a few hackathons. I guess *nix runs in the blood.

Your site is interesting, I subscribed to your Atom feed.

thanx. it's custom php using my open qoob framework and glip ;D

here's the source for an example portfolio setup using it:

and here's the actual class that renders the git repos.

I am LOVING reading all of these blogs. Really- you guys pulled me away from game of thrones for a good couple hours.

Maybe not needed but I complied the ones I liked into a list, if you don't want to dig through three pages of posts you should start here:

http://www.kaashif.co.uk/ #Informative, robust and technical all while remaining interesting.

http://venam.nixers.net/blog #Not just technical, I think we have something of a philosopher in our midst. Very interesting views and a whole lot of truth.

http://blog.xero.nu/ #This one just blows me away. Amazing design with helpful and interesting posts. It's bright and keeps you reading

http://eyenx.ch #Simple and pretty looking, my only complaint is that you haven't posted more

https://elliottpardee.me/ #Another beautiful blog, started just recently from the look of it. Please post more!

http://strangequark.tk/ #Great site from a great guy, Looks nice and frequent posts

http://b4dtr1p.tk/ #I swear all of you are way too good at web design. If any of you use twitter you should follow this guy.

http://blog.neeasade.net/ #Damn I am in love with that theme, good content and right now Im flipping between a post of yours and the terminal that I am typing this into. Stop having good content so I can post this

Anyways I really wanted to get work done today but I stumbled onto this thread and now I have upwards of fifty tabs open with stuff I need to read. Thanks.

It would be nice if we could get people to do repost of related content, as in *nix related, on the forums.
Like that we could discuss the content of their articles.

I can post the C tutorials that I'm making here too, I'm just a beginner and it would be nice to have the community reviewing the content and discuss it.
