If it works on PC-BSD, it will work on FreeBSD as well...

Here is my ArchLinux 64bit Desktop - openbox - tint2 - conky - urxvt w/ tmux - irssi - / firefox w/ pentadactyl

I'm considering switching to a tiling wm, cause I'm practically using openbox only with my keyboard.

I'm looking into monsterwm/awesome/dwm? Would appreciate your opinions...

Yeah I know the ArchWiki very well sir ;-) and as you say, it is really good.

I just wanted to hear your opinion of what you think of good tiling wm.

I'll take a look at awesome. The configuration file seems nice and is certainly very configurable...

Thanks

Well, as I said - they can be fundamentally different. What works for me doesn't necessarily work for you.

When it comes to tilers, I prefer the manual kind. Real-time configurability is a welcome addition, so currently I'm going back and forth between Herbstluft and Stump.

I've tried Awesome, and in my opinion its name is misleading.
