I check my RAM quite often through whatever means. It usually notifies me I forgot to close an mpv socket, I didn't close a browser properly (I'm still not sure how the fuck that happens on a rare occasion) or most likely I need to clsoe and restart chromium (for netflix) because bloated resource hog. Sure, you can use popups instead of a bar. Either way, I'd rather see my RAM is nearing full capacity before anything happens, than not at all. |
