Speaking of short-lived websites: That blog is alive since 2006, but with a major break in 2015-09. I threw away all the old PHP code. All links broke. :/ But the content is still there.

I admit: I also set up some really short-lived websites over the years. Mostly, they were about some game I played at that time. Once I stopped playing this game, I "forgot" about the page, and as soon as I switched servers/providers again, the page got lost. Well...

Funny enough, people always say "the internet forgets nothing". Oh yes, it does. The web is much more volatile than you'd think. It just doesn't forget some stuff that reached a certain popularity.
