Yea, anyone using either? just done some research fluxbox is getting updated now n then but blackbox has not been updated for 7 years but still usable ?

Which is the best one to use or in terms of performance ? and speed?

no way in hell im using gnome or any bloated GUI filled with crap lol

Also which is the command to install either of them anyone willing to help ?

BlackBox is deprecated but you can still use it if you want.(openBox is the continuation/derivation of it)
Also, if you want something really nice checkout some tilling Window Manager

Fluxbox is pretty simple, I used it for a long time.

I still use fluxbox, it's great. It's so easy to configure and you don't need to know a language to configure most of it anyway. I've only gone as far as the menu config which is all plain english and custom theming. Fluxbox does what you want to do, I can't be bothered getting the hardcore WM's that a lot of people here use. I use autohide for the taskbar and it looks pretty sick.

Then call the WM from .xinitrc using the full path.

Mine are in /usr/local/bin/
So in .xinitrc I have the following:

Thank's guy yes i'll use that set it up wallpapers etc want as 'light as possible' :-)
