29a, this is not that bad it's just the background quality.
Why are you always using the same *ugly* metal background.
Here's a gift from me:
save this image and put that in you .xinitrc:
feh --bg-tile location_of_imge/image.png

Please , repost the same image but with this image as a background. Like that we'll see if it was only the background because I don't see anything wrong with this techno color scheme.
